Hope to see plenty of folks at the Placer Library in Auburn this Saturday, May 18, 2013, between 10 and 2:00. Lots of action going on! I’ll be there with my House of Cuts and So Sweet Against Your Teeth books. Plus I’ll be playing excerpts from the engaging audiobook of House of Cuts, produced by LA radio personality Ginny Harman. See Gold Country Book Festival for details.

Thirty-five local published authors will be set up throughout the library grounds at 350 Nevada Street. In addition there will be free presentations on all facets of the literary industry, from creation and production to publishing and marketing.

Authors signing their books will cover many genres: mystery, biography, nature, history, science fiction, education, health care, art, civil rights, youth and children’s stories.

“Authors, writers, readers. We are trying to involve everybody,” event organizer Linda LoBue said. “It’s a very family-oriented event.”
